Key responsibilities
Job Purpose
To execute, support and supervise daily operations tasks related to trucking on Domestic, Import, Export shipments, in accordance with agreed procedures, so as to deliver results within specified transit time.
Key Responsibilities
Understanding of external factors impacting Customer's supply Chain & understand their sense of urgency, service needs, drivers and desires.
Ability to align with customer expectations upfront & to be able to respond with suggested solutions.
Be the primary point of contact for own customers and ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, including the inland delivery, by working closely with the customer and third party agent as well as internal stakeholders.
Ensure good collaborative relationship with customer, vendors and monitor vendor service, report trends to manager and relationship liaisons. Conduct supplier performance management
Optimize transport planning in the most efficient way for customers and stakeholders
Monitor and ensure timely service response to any customer enquiry
Liaising and preparing transport planning with suppliers and using triangulation to optimize planning
Execute cost saving plans in line with procurement logic to deliver a consistently deflationary cost profile while maintaining excellent standards of safety and reliability, including efficient planning and triangulation.
Proactively track shipments and notify customer service team of relevant deviations from the transport plan (ocean, air and inland), including potential solutions or alternatives.
Provide updates, issues and concerns along with possible solutions to management
Take all measures to solve any issues preventing process completion, and if unsuccessful, immediately escalate to the Team Execution Leader, or in her absence the Team Execution Managers.
Ensure correct input in transport planning and costing systems
Co-own KPI's and other measurements within Delivery and initiate any necessary action plans for improvement
Take all measure to prevent and avoid any possible additional costs (storages/demurrage/detention/...) that can negatively affect the margin initially estimated
Be fully responsible for customer satisfaction across Maersk product offering
Willingness to go the extra mile towards the customers & with focus on providing solutions.
In general, actively seek out and act on continuous improvement opportunities both in relation to customers and internal / external stakeholders
Prepare and distribute daily/weekly reports and readers to ensure necessary information are communicated and understood by stakeholders' communities.
Support any other project as per assignment from management.

External suppliers (port, hauler, customs)

Local suppliers for inland products

We are looking for
Bachelor's Degree in related filed.
Familiar with international freight forwarding market, experience in trucking, shipping import & export customer service operation (Ocean and Air).
2 - 3 years of experience in customer service, truck planning and operations.
Knowledgeable in shipping process and documentations, customers clearance process.
Excellent Stakeholder management-, interpersonal-, and communication-skills
Energetic, Well-organized, and Self-Initiated
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good Process understanding & digital proficiency
Ability to work under pressure keeping quality in focus
Strong execution mindset
Strong Cost conscious and optimization mindset
Good command in English.
