The Sales Development Team Leader is responsible for leading a team focused on generating new B2B opportunities for our field sales to convert through the pipeline to Closed Won revenue. The Sales Development Team Leader will be one who can network across the business to garner support from marketing and sales to drive the team forward to exceed target.
The Sales Development Team Leader will be responsible for developing & unlocking the potential of Sales Development Reps and driving their education and development. The Sales Development Team Leader will also:
Maintain a winning culture within the team, with an expectation to exceed targets.
Drive a sense of urgency.
Identify and execute improvement projects.
Drive and sustain changes effectively across the team
Lead pilot initiatives.
Work across borders and run international teams.
Own weekly team meetings and one-on-ones.
Ensure staff retention, as appropriate
Communicate insight through reporting on key performance indicators
Provide constructive feedback to motivate your team and advance their professional development
Oversee the lead management process and ensure that business outcomes are being derived from the appointments created.
REQUIREMENTS
1 to 3 years in managing telemarketing / sales teams.
Passionate about success and being a leader that is responsible for the team driving Closed Won revenue.
Flexible and work well with department heads (through v-teams / working in a matrix organisation)
Have experience and knowledge of salesforce.com reporting.
Understand how to communicate effectively with your team and executive management
Have experience as a telemarketer
Experience in managing high functioning teams
Comfortable with presenting to large groups
Possess strong problem-solving skills
Hold a passion for technology and customer experience
Experience running international teams
Ammenable to international travel as required (when possible)
