The Client Productivity Team is a function of the IT Client Services organization that provides end-to-end project delivery and support of Cardinal Health's collaboration and productivity services environment.
Supported platforms included but are not limited to Microsoft Office 365 administration, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Office, Active Directory Federation Services, Cisco Email Security (IronPort), Box.com, LucidChart, LucidSpark, and Zoom Phone. The Client Productivity Run Engineer will be responsible for proactive and reactive support and administration of of Cardinal Health's collaboration and productivity services and application.
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Works on complex projects of large scope
Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
Completes work independently; receives general guidance on new projects
Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Qualifications
BS in Computer or related field or relevant work experience of 5+ more years in a large scale (25,000+ user base) enterprise messaging environment.
5+ years of experience in integration technologies and support in a large scale fast moving environment.
Office 365 deployment, migration and co-existent solution experience.
3+ years email integration/migration experience.
5+ years of advanced email engineering and administration of Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013, Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007/2010/2013 and Cisco Ironport.
Understanding of Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013 and Office 365 administration, architecture and engineering.
Office 365 administration and support in hybrid configuration architecture.
Development and maintenance of automation scripts used to optimize and maintain the email environment
Work with solution vendors for administration and troubleshooting of enterprise email.
Perform all aspects of solution documentation including operational procedures and systems health checks.
Critical understanding of messaging and integrated solutions to enhance system monitoring solutions (SolarWinds/SCOM)
Expected to work in a self driven environment and meet expected deadlines.
What is expected of you and others at this level
This role is a lead technical support engineer who will be responsible for the following activities, tasks and operations within the Client Productivity RUN Team:
Supports services and applications owned by the Cardinal Health Client Productivity Team.
Monitoring, Health Checks and Reporting of all Client Productivity applications and services, for performance or potential issues
Should have a clear and good communication skills to manage escalations to higher tier (administrator pool) for support
Partners with the RUN Team Supervisor to help support the team daily BAU operations
Helps define and analyze KPIs used to ensure the team is meeting the SLAs
Implements and supports technical controls related to Client Productivity team policies, procedures, and standards
Participates in planned or unplanned support and maintenance activities of our services and applications
Analyzes Run team processes. Proposes and/or solutions of varying complexity for process optimization including automation
Key participant in the build-to-run application and/or process transitions implemented by the build team. Conversely, this role is responsible for notifying the build team of configuration changes made during maintenance and/or break/fix activities
Creates and updates operational documentation including architectural diagrams and operating procedures
Stay up to date on new industry-specific technologies as it relates to the position
Should be able to coordinate well with vendors on technical level for administration and troubleshooting of supported services and applications
Must be flexible to adopt shift duty timing to cover 24x7 on-call support operations
Mentorship and Knowledge Transfers to junior team members.
