Job Description
This opportunity is for a new college graduate with relevant studies in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science. The successful candidate will join the 8-bit Microcontroller (MCU8) Applications Engineering Team as an Applications Engineer I.
Responsibilities include:
Design and develop software tools and GUIs used by Microchip customers.
Develop middleware libraries and software stacks for a wide portfolio of Microchip products.
Collaborate with worldwide Microchip development teams.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
Good knowledge in C programming.
Practical lab experience in using multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers, etc.
Experience with PIC and/or AVR microcontroller programming is preferred.
Knowledge in object-oriented programming and data structure is preferred.
Understanding of web technologies (i.e., React, JavaScript) is a plus.
Knowledge in software version control tools (i.e., Git) is a plus.
Team player and flexible to work with remote counterparts worldwide.
