Job Description
The Employee Engagement and Communications Manager is responsible for the management, design, and implementation of employee engagement and people communications initiatives and processes. S/He will also lead the overall management of Food Group's Employer Brand Strategy.
Employee Engagement
Conceptualizes, designs, and ensures effective implementation of 1FG's employee engagement strategy.
Measures, evaluates and provides strategic advice or recommendation to the different stakeholders regarding the level of engagement across the organization.
Partners with HRBP and Country HR's on the planning and implementation of various employee engagement initiatives.
Employer Brand
Leads and Manages the content strategy of Employer Brand of Food Group and ensures effective implementation.
Ensures implementation of the identified employer brand strategies and programs which include social media campaigns, talent community management, and a brand ambassador program.
Measures the performance and effectiveness of programs and identifies relevant people metrics that are used for decision-making
Communications and Content Management
Develop strategic integrated communication plans for all People related programs and initiatives through different channels (email, employee portal, print).
Partner with the various HR units in developing and ensuring that the communication strategies, tailored specifically to their business needs, are carried out accordingly.
Manage communications governance and signoff processes and provide reports and recommendations on the performance of HR communications initiatives and programs.
Change management
Provides subject matter expertise in the area of Communications, Culture and Engagement as part of Change Management.
Works closely with Change Lead in planning, designing, developing, implementing and monitoring effectiveness of communication and engagement activities to create awareness, understanding and desire for change.
Project Management
Identifies, plans, and oversees the identified and/or assigned key strategic projects and ensures that they are completed on time and within budget.
People Management
Manages the performance, development, and engagement of team members.
Ensures effectiveness of the team by monitoring performance against team KPI's and takes corrective action as required.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of Human Resources Management, Digital Management, Marketing, Communications, and other related courses
Experience:
At least 5 years experience in an HR role handling Employee Engagement, Change management, Organizational Communications, and Employer brand, preferably in a leadership position
