As an Email Marketing Manager, you will develop and manage strategies and execute email marketing automation and campaigns for our clients. To succeed in this role, you need to be creative, analytical, self-driven, and detail-oriented. Above all, you need to be a good team player and you have an established team management experience in handling small to medium size group.
Key Responsibility: You'll be the lead email marketing strategist and client manager for 8 - 12 clients. You'll be working with junior account managers, a project manager, copywriters, and the graphic design team. To ensure we deliver the best possible result for our clients, you'll spend most of your time developing and optimizing client strategy. You'll also work with the Head of Client Success to deliver world class service.
Accountabilities:
Creating email marketing automation and targeting strategies based on customer lifecycles, segmentation, predictive analytics, and client's branding needs
Developing and executing large-scale email marketing campaigns
Continuously measuring and optimizing email marketing automation and campaign performance
Launching and quality checking email marketing automation and campaigns to ensure they're 100% error-free
Working with the Graphic Design and Copywriting Teams to develop the design strategy for each client
Tracking and analyzing weekly and monthly email KPIs
Conducting weekly/monthly calls with clients and team members to discuss/present email marketing strategies
Analyzing campaign performance and suggesting improvements
Gathering and analyzing competitor email programs for insights around email strategy, targeting, promotional offers, and cadence/delivery timing
Continuous improvement of our service offering with updated strategies
Working with Project Managers to ensure that projects are on-time and on-budget
Developing and updating our internal knowledge and training depository
Handling 3-5 direct reports
Conducting bi-monthly coaching sessions
Facilitating onboarding and training of new hires
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor's Degree
Email Marketing using different ESPs (Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, Active Campaign, Drip, GetResponse, Retention Science, etc.) (Klaviyo is a plus)
Experience in handling multiple clients (Agency experience is a plus)
Team management experience (Handling a remote team is a plus)
