As an Email Marketer, you have two goals:
Retain existing customers and reactivate lapsed customers to improve customer lifetime value (CLTV) for the brand
Turn prospects into paying customers to increase new customer acquisition for the brand
While we are generating over $100M per year in revenue, we estimate a 10x opportunity for emails to become a larger contributor to our overall business within six to nine months. The ideal Email Marketer candidate is not only excited about the opportunity to play an instrumental role, but also motivated to take full ownership and work hard to turn this goal into a reality.
Despite our aggressive growth ambitions, we take a measured approach to emails with an emphasis on the fundamentals:

Deliverability and compliance
Data analysis and iteration
This means focusing on creating effective email sequences that deliver the right message to the right person at the right time.
This results in customers receiving timely offers that stay out of spam folders and with higher conversion rates. And because we create engaging copy (message within the email), customers look forward to receiving our emails which keeps our open rates high (50%+ for campaigns and 40%+ for flows).
Evidently, we are less interested in hit-and-run tactics and more interested in sustainable strategies.

As part of our Traffic team, you will work closely with the Leadership and Creative teams to unlock the value in this channel.
While this mainly involves the use of email, it may also include cross-channel efforts to include SMS, social media, search, and other channels. As a result, you will be working in cross-functional teams while taking ownership of emails.

Your Job Scope
Campaign & Flow setup
Develop a strong understanding of our campaign and flow strategy
Contribute ideas to improve our campaign and flow strategy once you have developed a strong understanding of the core marketing principles
Set up regular campaigns several times a week
Set up promo-specific campaigns
Set up core and opportunistic flows
Set up and conclude A/B split tests
Perform pre-launch and post-launch checks and audits including but not limited to schedule, recipients, filters, splits, deliverability, etc.
Develop and improve our email marketing processes
Data Analytics:
Collate performance data daily from Klaviyo and attribution platforms
Cross-reference Klaviyo and attribution data to paint an accurate picture of our overall performance
Benchmark performance against targets and industry averages
Identify opportunities to improve and prioritise opportunities that you can lead projects on to execute timely and effectively
Identify A/B split test opportunities, share opportunities, and lead projects to execute A/B split tests leading to conclusion and improvements to our email marketing performance
Communicating the split test conclusion & opportunities to the manager and the rest of the team - after identifying any patterns, connection between these A/B split tests
Cross-functional project management:
Lead and support projects to improve email marketing performance beyond simple email split tests, such as suggested A/B split test changes on landing pages
Evaluate ideas and operational considerations for every project
Execute projects and hold yourself and team members accountable for their roles and deliverables
Implement A/B split tests accurately, such as targeting the correct URL and audience segments
Other activities:
Ad-hoc and other digital marketing-related projects
Requirements

Strong analytical & critical thinking skills

Tech savvy & good with numbers
Meticulous - Attention to detail, ability to produce consistent quality work even under pressure

Have experience using google analytics or any other analytical tools
Familiar with setup of flows, campaigns or autoresponders on marketing platforms
Familiar with fixing bugs during campaign setups
Familiar with digital/email marketing
Process-driven with systematic thought processes
Must be a fast learner & adaptable
Strong communicator and interpersonal skills
Must be able to advise senior management on the best way to use provided data
Must be able to create transferable & easy to understand reports on - marketing KPIs

Have used tools like - VWO, Hotjar & SMS Bump
Have experience working in - health/beauty, ecommerce, supplements, skincare, dropshipping, info products - sectors
