Electrical SupervisorAboitizPower

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for conceptualizing and designing of electrical, automation, control and protection systems including effective implementation. This system should comply and conform to accepted international standard. S/he is also responsible for simulating and foreseeing viability of potential plants with the proposed connection points.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinations with several, government agencies - NGCP, DOE, etc.
Design support for High Voltage - above 69kV TL, Solar & Wind Electrical Design, preparation of the SIS
Conducts electrical assessments of potential plants from pre-screening, screening, pre-development, development and execution for Hydro, Solar, Wind Power Plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
Prepares design/detailed engineering, plans drawings, estimates, line losses & budgets of proposed projects, expansion and improvements or any proposed electrical works such as substation, switchyard, powerhouse, distribution line and transmission line.
Conducts site survey for transmission line route, distribution line route, tapping point location and substation location.
Coordinates work with other team to avoid conflicts with mechanical, structural, plumbing and architectural elements of each project.
Specifies Electrical Equipment for substation, switchyard, powerhouse, distribution line and transmission line.
Provides support in the preparation of bid docs & other
requirements. * Performs any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior consistent with the purpose of this role.
Graduate of Electrical Engineering
Must be a licensed engineer
At least 4 years of related work experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience
Must have experience in providing design support for high voltage projects - above 69kV TL
Renewable energy experience is required
Strong analytical and planning skills;
Good communication and presentation skills;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
Associate / Supervisor Architecture and Engineering Oil / Energy / Solar / Greentech 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
