Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
Must know about Cost Control, Cost Forecasting and Cost Estimation
Prepare cost estimates for a certain project and review in detail the proposals from the contractors or suppliers
Coordinates direct and leads estimating efforts to ensure optimum costing of projects and programs to ensure the company meets customer expectations and manufacturing requirements.
Prepare reports and canvass sheets to ensure that the proposals from contractors or suppliers comply with the project's requirements, technically and commercially
Record all project expenditures to ensure that project expenses are within the approved budget
Ensure costing commitment are met
Coordination with Purchasing with pricing concern
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Electrical Engineering
Experienced in Cost Engineering, Cost Estimating, planning, scheduling estimating and other areas of project controls in a manufacturing environment
Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office programs
Functional knowledge of accounting, financial accounting
Operating knowledge and experience of design software and engineering tools
Proficient with computer programs and a working knowledge of new technology
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co‐workers, outside agencies, business partners, and consultants
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
