ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY SPECIALIST
JOB OBJECTIVES
1. Facilitate implementation of safety and environment policies and procedures including other systems that would enhance the safety and environmental performance of the organization.
2. Ensure compliance of all JFC stores to the Fire code of the Philippines
3. Ensure compliance of all JFC stores to the Philippine Environmental Laws and Regulation, and other related ordinances
4. Assist the Environmental & Safety Manager in attaining the Environmental & Safety Unit's Strategic Objectives & goals
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Dissemination of information about the environmental rules and safety regulations to all the stores (including plans and strategies)
2. Conducting of Engineering Development Studies on approaches to improve Effluent Quality Level
Development, recommendation, establishment, and implementation of engineering standards in the field of Fire Protection/Safety and Environmental Projects
4. Assistance of Pollution Control officers during conferences, meetings, and hearings.
5. Establishment and Maintenance of a monitoring procedure for generator sets and effluent quality levels of our Commissary Site in Bulacan, Sucat, Taguig and Laguna.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1. Candidate must possess a College Degree , Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Bioengineering/Biomedical) or equivalent.
2. At least 2- 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Preferably with Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Accreditation and Safety Offer (SO) Accreditation
4. Preferably a licensed Chemical/Environmental/Sanitary Engineer
5. Knowledge in auto-cad, project management, construction, design, estimate, wastewater operation, and business presentation is a plus
6. Applicants must be willing to render fieldwork
7. With above average familiarity in Fire safety programs and procedures implementation.
8. With Strong Knowledge in incident reporting
