We are looking for an EHS Specialist in Eaton's Electrical Business, based in Tanauan, Batangas. The key responsibilities will include:
Formulates the company's Annual ESH Objectives, Targets and Programs with relevant teams
Formulates the Annual Department Financial Budget to ensure all EHS activities are provided with necessary resources for proper implementation
Monitors the company's ESH performance and reviews the EHS activities results and formulates corrective and preventive actions to problems identified during reviews and analyses
Manages the implementation of Eaton's Corporate Management System for Environment, Safety, Security and Health (MESH) including the conduct of the annual Management System Review to maintain compliance with the corporate EHS management system,
Manages the implementation of the company's Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001:2015 and heads the conduct of internal audits and annual Management Review to maintain compliance with the international standard
Manages the Hazardous Wastes Disposal activities of the company including promoting Zero Wastes to Landfill programs
Coordinates the regular review of EHS related government requirements, on-time application and renewal of applicable permits and submission of applicable government reports maintaining compliance to the relevant environmental, safety and health laws and regulations of the government
Formulates emergency response procedures, coordinates the conduct of drills and provision of emergency equipment and identifies training needs and provides training to relevant Emergency Response Team (ERT) members to ensure that the company's ERT is capable of effectively responding to various applicable emergencies
Support the site MESH Champions in the implementation of the Corporate MESH Requirements and develops the Champions competency by training and coaching
Manages the sites Clinic operations and ensures compliance with all legal requirements and employee medical needs
Conducts Corporate MESH Assessment a various Eaton sites in the Asia Pacific and China
Represents the company at the Annual the Asia Pacific and CH All Hands Meeting
Determines the staff training needs, provides the necessary training, reviews staff performance, and provides necessary coaching during regular staff meetings to improve staff competence and behavior to prepare for future career development
Qualifications
If you have/are:
Bachelor's Degree in any of the following or related disciplines: Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Chemistry. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 3 years of direct experience in this field
3-5 years of previous experience in engineering or engineering project management
Professional certifications as appropriate, such as Safety Engineering Certificate, Pollution Control Certificate or other related certificates required by regulatory agencies
