Job Summary:
Overall responsible for managing the online sales channels, improving company processes and reporting, and attaining sales growth. This position also involves analyzing data from various sources to generate commercial insights, managing relationships with partners and ensuring seamless end-to-end integration of the e-commerce business. This is a diverse role that will allow the right candidate to know how a business is run end to end.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
Oversee online sale channels development and collaborate with marketing, customer support and operations teams to fulfill e-commerce business strategies. Stay up to date with the online marketing environment, share insights about the various strategies and adapt the strategy that best serves the interests of the organization and keeps us ahead of competition in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Development
● Gather data from various sources to develop marketplace strategy, conduct business
analysis and provide recommendations and insights.
● Responsible for establishing the metrics required to measure business performance and
develop the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.
● Manages complex, time-sensitive market research projects and prepares synthesized
intelligence reports with clear implications.
● Create new ways to improve service and streamline processes to better serve
customers.
General and Task Management
● Support Ecommerce Team in managing marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart and
Shopify.
● Manage orders and inventory across different marketplace such as Amazon, Walmart
and Shopify.
● Handle customer queries on marketplace and support Customer Support team with
order enquiries from customer
● Send and update daily/weekly reports for sales and promotions.
● Learning the ins and outs of the major sales channels, including Amazon, Walmart and
Shopify to help troubleshoot issues.
● Learn the existing work flows for Ecommerce Operations and Advertising and contribute
ideas, input and feedback for managed channels to improve all aspects.
The Person:
This position requires a person with excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills. Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approachesto business analysis. Good project management skills, including leading large, cross-functionalinitiatives. Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data. Having a logical and analytical approach, taking special care of small details and finding the right solutions by thinking creatively and outside the box. Good communication skills. Ability to convey clear and convincing oral and written communication to individuals or groups effectively considering the
audience and nature of the information.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Logistic or any related field.
● At least 4 years work experience
● Understanding of selling online and different marketplaces.
● Excellent English communication skills
● Strong interpersonal skills-proven ability to build and expand relationships
(internal/external)
● Proven ability to multitask and take ad hoc assignments to support the team.
● Good understanding of Amazon Seller Central/Shopify/other marketplaces is an
advantage but not a requirement.
