Support Cash Apps Supervisor in all day-to-day activities.
Responsible for the e-Payment services (Credit Card, Paypal, etc.) and ensuring that payment are properly identified and allocated to the correct customer and invoices
Support the daily cash application, cash re-allocation requests, refund processing, cash queries received via central inbox and analysis of previously applied cash receipts
Seek for and implement, in close co-operation with the O2C Analyst Cash Apps, continuous improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service for systems under control
Handle daily cash application/refunds for cheque, wires or credit card payments that are received from all Customer types in PeopleSoft, Delta and Oracle. Resolve cash application discrepancies if requested.
Investigate and resolve complex payment inquiries received from both internal and external customers.
Provide input to the Supervisor/Manager on ways to improve/automate manual and time consuming tasks.
Participate in global and departmental projects as required. Strong, clear and timely communication to the important and relevant contacts on cash related activities.
Keep track and follow up on logged system's change/fixes requests. Ensure procedures and operational manuals are kept up to date and comply with Sox requirements
Participate and act as super user in projects that affect the system under control.
