The Digital Merchandising Specialist is responsible in reviewing and ensuring the products have all the necessary information and attributes.
As an Digital Merchandising Specialist, you will:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of e-commerce journeys and relevant merchandising activities
Work with Digital Marketing and Product teams to understand online merchandising needs and work to ensure a clean plan and how to review that the sites in each country contain the necessary content and imagery
Ensure that all products are properly represented in each market.
Review each e-commerce website and ensure the products have all necessary information and attributes, items show in searches, pricing shows appropriately, etc.
Ensure the Brand and Brand Experience is consistent across the product Category.
Fully versed in the products, the buying journey and how information should be available for a user.
Work with various teams to obtain content, images, provide the digital marketing or the catalogue team to properly update the listings
Bachelor's Degree in any field
At least 2 years relevant experience in e-commerce journeys and relevant merchandising activities
Learn how to use sitecore XP and XC business tools within content or commerce platforms
Understanding and being prepared for merchandising related to - Campaigns and promotions, Site banners, content, and navigation, Product taxonomy, channel feed data
Familiarity with key components that go into a e-commerce website and the attributes that are relevant for merchandising
Familiarity with e-commerce terminology used by brands, to have a meaningful conversation with marketing and creative teams
Familiarity with content hierarchy and experience in managing content updates to consumers site
Understanding of basic SEO implications on the site, and accessibility and consumer data privacy requirements for a commerce site
Individual who is proactive, willing to work towards providing great customer experience
Good communication and written skills
Ability to work with cross functional teams like 3rd parties and other departments
Amenable to work remotely on a US shift (8pm-5am), Mondays to Fridays.
Must have a stable internet connection with speed of at least 25mbps (Fiber Connection)
