DWS - Global Revenue Investments Process Lead - VP

Following its listing as a public company on the Frankfurt stock exchange in March 2018, DWS is undertaking a significant transformation over the next few years to implement state-of-the-art infrastructure aligned to the needs of an asset manager.
The CFO Division of DWS has presence in Frankfurt, London, New York and Asia and is responsible for ensuring the sound risk management and financial governance of DWS. The CFO Division comprises Risk, Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Integrated Reporting, Regional CFO teams, Tax, Capital & Liquidity Management, Finance Director teams for the Investment Platform, Coverage and Infrastructure functions and the COO team.
Finance is currently going through a significant transformation which has led to the creation of this role within the Corporate Accounting function.

Your key responsibilities:
As this is a new function the initial responsibilities will be:
To learn and understand the processes through training provided by the SAP Financial Product Sub-Ledger (FPSL) and handover from existing Proteus workstream owners this role will be responsible for delivering training for participants in the future process.
Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure that the system performs as expected and is fit-for- purpose
Drafting and obtaining signoff on the key operating procedures (KOPs/SOPs)
Establish a proper control framework
Identify manual process and exception and error handling controls which meet established policies / rules, as required (e.g., payment gold standards)
Participate in completion of control framework for in-scope processes and
Assist in determining the RTB operating model, as well as building out / training team.
Your skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
Experience in cost processes, real estate or fixed asset accounting gained from the Financial Services, Audit, BPO or Asset Management industry
Project management and problem solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills
