Work you'll do Audit Analytics Data sits at the heart of every organization and is relied upon for all aspects of operations, analysis, decision-making, reporting and regulatory requirements. Audit Analytics is an exciting and thriving area at Deloitte. Our practitioners work with leading global, regional and local clients where audit analytics makes the difference by providing actionable insights, bringing efficiency, and fostering innovation. The Audit Analytics team works as a multi-disciplinary team within the Audit function to support them across a range of industries. Within the Audit Analytics team, you will contributing to the Audit Analytics strategy for Deloitte Southeast Asia. You will be involved with execution of audit analytics projects to increase the quality, efficiency and value of our financial audits. Tasks ranges from data extraction, loading and cleaning activities, as well actual data analyses and visualization of results through interactive dashboards. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of high-quality work, development of new analytical procedures, and communication with internal and external client stakeholders. Typical tasks will include: Perform tasks requiring a degree of problem solving and the ability to understand basic accounting concepts. (trainings available) Carry out data quality checks and alerts if errors occur. Manage a portfolio of advisory and audit analytics projects, ensuring tasks are being done on time and in an efficient and accurate manner. Assist with data extraction tasks from various external ERP systems. Perform in-depth data analysis as part of the standard audit analytics packages and develop custom solutions to solve complex questions. Requirements Degree educated, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Decisions Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Analytics related. Minimum 2 years of experience (with a minimum of 1 year experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models). Hands on experience with tools such as: familiarity with database technology such as MS SQL, proficient with visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik, working knowledge on statistical languages such as R, Python, awareness of processing tools such as Alteryx and Excel VBA. Basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles is beneficial but not required Basic knowledge of software development life cycle Prior experience working with and managing large data sets, including extraction and merges from source systems, data cleansing and transformations, and providing preliminary descriptive analytics findings to business challenges Enthusiastic, having a flair for problem solving and comfortable with handling data ambiguity Demonstrated critical thinking skills and able to effectively communicate in both written and oral presentations Strong interpersonal skills and the ability work in a team Additional Requirements that are considered as an asset: Proficient with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and React Proficient with server-side languages such as JavaScript and .Net Developing front-end website architecture, designing user interactions on web pages and developing back end website applications.
