Responsibilities
Review of the Well Design and Workover proposals
Conducts Offset Well Analysis
Preparation of the Drilling or Workover Program
Preparation of the Authority For Expenditures and monitoring of expenses
Monitoring of the Drilling or Workover Operation
Develop, evaluate and implement 3rd party contracts
Review technical specifications of drilling consumables and other drilling related items
Well Review
Qualification
Licensed Engineer preferably Mechanical or Chemical
Knowledge in the following:
Well Control - every 2 years
Basic Drilling Engineering
Geothermal Course
Rig Familiarization
Stuck Pipe Prevention
Bit Design and application
Directional Drilling planning
Mud Engineering
Cementing Course and application
Aerated Drilling and application
Actual supervision of the Drilling & Workover operation to include but not limited to exposure on cementing operation, mud system, directional drilling and Aerated drilling operation.
