Job Description: About this Opportunity
Enterprise Application Support (EAS) provides centralized application and infrastructure support for all critical business applications and infrastructure support.
The Director Application Support Engineering is responsible for providing operational support to all application suites within DTCC and people management across the entire team of application frontliners. The role will manage front-line teams within Enterprise Virtual Command Center and participate in the resolution of alerts or issues. This role is expected to work closely with the required advance teams, our Enterprise Infrastructure partners and our internal business clients to ensure adherence in the processes and policies, and obtain improvement as needed by the client. What You'll Do
Accountable for executing business plans, policies, and procedures.
Determines, evaluates, and modifies goals to meet functional objectives and strategic needs.
Responsible for function that contributes to corporate strategy and goals.
Develops talent for current and long-term department needs and opportunities.
Operational and administrative management of projects and individual contributors.
Initiate key project driven initiatives and operational tasks to drive efficiency.
Performance Management in the form of Service Delivery Review with the stakeholders.
Execute strong organizational skills in maintaining the integrity of the team.
Demonstrates enterprise leadership outside of its own department / function
Build strong working relationships across business & technical functions at both individual and management levels.
Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk.
Participate in the Audit management of the team.
Plan, execute and participate on the Business Continuity Management of the function.
Act as part of Manila IT Site Leadership Team and assist in the management of the administrative responsibilities across all IT individuals in the site.
Inspire and participate on the company's employee engagement activities.
Sound Like You?
Minimum of 10 years of related experience in Information Technology group with at least 5 years experiences in managing Application Support or any Technical team.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Additional Qualifications
Experience in ITIL practice or having ITIL certification is required.
Six Sigma or MBA certification is a plus.
General knowledge of industry principles and new technologies.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high demand environment
