This is a remote position.
My Virtual Mate is a registered Australian company that helps businesses with business process outsourcing. Our mission is to make a positive change in our partners' business, which ultimately helps them gain more profits, and grow their business with truly talented staff.
Our client is an Atlassian partner and they are looking for a Digital Marketing Officer to oversee and manage their digital marketing efforts. These include, but are not limited to, website maintenance and design, SEO and SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and digital marketing through varied partners and platforms. They currently make use of Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) as theirCRM, but also utilise custom configurations on through Atlassian and through their partner's platforms.
To be qualified for this position, you should hold a degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field. If you have excellent communication skills, have relevant experience in digital marketing, and are a hardworker who enjoys learning new digital tools, we'd like to meet you!
Manages website content, design and functionality.
Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns. Designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence (only LinkedIn and YouTube).
Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed. Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
Plans and conducts online/remote events for the business.
Create digital media relevant to marketing requirements
Create and maintain client relationships
Coach and mentor possible subordinate involvement
Manage digital marketing processes
Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate/Diploma/Professional Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, or any related field.
Minimum of 3+ years working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry (IT/Software/Tech)
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.)
Working knowledge of ad serving tools
Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
Preferred Knowledge
Knowledgeable of Atlassian tool suite, mainly Jira Software / Confluence / Jira Service Desk
