ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to Director of Clinical Research Pharmacy Group with a dotted line reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Business Support and/or Business Operations. The DBO Project Specialist role will provide technical and operational assistance across a broad range of projects with a primary focus on advancing the organization's digital goals.
For this position, candidates will need to be well versed in the Microsoft suite of applications, operate independently, be a creative problem solver, and have a willingness to continuously learn in order to successfully deliver optimal solutions across a diverse and dynamic portfolio.
Develop fit for purpose solutions for customers within Global Clinical Supply (GCS) using tools that are core to Pfizer (e.g. SharePoint, Teams, Spotfire, Tableau, etc.)
Create visually engaging presentation and training materials, process flows and guidance documents that enhance business use of technology
Establish and maintain a process and schedule for ensuring GCS SharePoint content is always current and relevant
Monitor utilization of GCS SharePoints and regularly report usage metrics
Develop, enhance and maintain Microsoft Teams sites including any associated apps such as Wiki, Jira, Planner, etc.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead or participate on projects that enhance GCS systems and process
Provide innovative insights on new or emerging software applications that can enhance how GCS operates
Provide support on various projects assigned by Director of Supply Chain Business Support
Basic Qualifications:
Fluent in verbal and written English
BA/BS, in computer science, scientific, or business field required
Expert level experience working with core Microsoft solutions with a focus on SharePoint and Teams
Comfortable working with customers on a global team in a change-agile environment
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/requests simultaneously across global time zones and meet deadlines in a professional manner
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience / understanding of the Clinical Supply Chain
Data Visualization expertise using tools such as Spotfire, Tableau or other
Skilled in working across multiple systems and processes for issue resolution
