We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing Product Engineering team to build the mobile and web experiences in a fast, accessible, and intuitive way. You will partner with our client's Product and Design teams on application design, user experience, developer workflows, deployment strategies, and testing of the native mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Work within an agile project management structure
Define infrastructure procedures for deploying, monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting cloud applications
Build continuous integration configurations using CircleCI or similar
Hands-on development in several disparate technologies including managed services (GCP, Azure, AWS) and Kubernetes resources
Write code in languages including Python, Go, SQL, Bash, Make
Use tools including Terraform, Vault, Git to provision infrastructure
Work among developers of various expertise to provide seamless deployment solutions
Be disciplined in implementing tests, continuous integration and continuous delivery to production, source code repositories and build systems for web, web services, database, and mobile applications
Meet challenging problems with efficient, safe and reliable solutions
Break down work to articulate tasks and plan for meeting objectives in a predictable way
Requirements
Established track record of delivering complex software solutions to delight customers
Significant experience writing infrastructure tools in modern languages including Python, Go, Bash, Make
Technical experience must include navigating, describing and manipulating network environments in cloud environments
Expertise securing application infrastructure, databases and file storage
Fundamental understanding of user privileges in a cloud environment
Experience delivering solutions on Google Cloud, AWS or Azure. Preferred Google Cloud and Google Kubernetes
Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
A minimum of 4 years of software development experience
Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity and fulfillment of commitments
Technical innovator and thought leader, with ability to demonstrate and inspire continuous learning, experimentation, and data and metrics-driven decision making
