We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. As part of the team, you will be working in an agile environment building features for the banking apps of different ING Entities. You will take part in creating, maintaining and improving these banking features. You will be able to learn and share knowledge with your colleagues from the mobile community both here in the Philippines and abroad.Expectations of you:As a member of the engineering team, you will deliver reliable and proactive operational support for the FastData platform. You are expected to:
Ensure timely resolution of incidents and execution of standard changes.
Collaborate closely with the EU-based core team and participate in daily syncs.
Maintain high-quality documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Support operations to bridge time zone gaps.
Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Knowledge and skillsets:Technical Skills
Data & Messaging Platforms:
Apache Kafka - for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture.
Scripting & Automation: Python, Shell scripting, Ansible.
CI/CD & Version Control: Git, GitLab CI/CD.
Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
Amazon S3 - for scalable data storage and access management.
Access Management: Active Directory, LDAP, CyberArk.
ITSM Tools: ServiceNow for incident, request, and change management.
Operational Responsibilities
System patching and maintenance (UAT, INT environments).
Execution of standard changes and provisioning tasks.
User access and permission management.
Participation in daily operational meetings and early support shifts.
Documentation of recurring issues and standard procedures.
