Position: DevOps Engineer
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the successful implementation of cloud architectures and environments. The DevOps Engineer will act as an expert and trusted advisor who will provide guidance for transforming legacy/implementations to the cloud including the mastery of deployment pipelines for each of the support product platforms. The DevOps engineer to support Android platform as well.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for design, deployment, and hands-on implementation of AWS cloud solutions.
Serve as a cloud technical resource in team's efforts to determine the needs of our business that will simplify and automate the applications as well as make them more efficient.
Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of our cloud foundational footprint.
Implement and understand AWS scaling capabilities.
Work closely with other architects and engineers to recommend and design database or data storage solutions that effectively reflect our client's business needs, security, and service level requirements.
Work with application and architecture teams to conduct proof of concept (POC) and implement the design in production environment in cloud.
Align solutions with standards and best practices working with cross-functional engineering and consulting teams. · Perform risk analysis & create mitigation strategies for continuous evaluation and validation or system design and architecture.
Ability to produce as-built documentation and materials.
Establish strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
Contribute to the development of internal best practices.
Knowledge of Jenkins, GIT, Gerrit and Artifactory for our new Android platform DevOp operation.
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of IAM integration with cloud environments
Minimum 3 years of experience deploying database driven web applications utilizing Java, PHP, Microsoft .Net, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, CSS and Ajax
Experience aiding with operationalizing cloud environments using native and third-party tools for monitoring, management, deployment, and scaling
Ability to mix deep technical expertise with simple, everyday language to deliver a story that is memorable, educational and useful
Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment
Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment
Motivated self-starter who loves to troubleshoot and solve challenging problems and feels comfortable working directly with customers
Knowledge of Jenkins, GIT, Gerrit and Artifactory.
AWS Services expertise (RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, Control Tower, etc.)
Expertise in application deployment to Docker instances using AWS Beanstalk.
Strong knowledge in integrating and managing multiple AWS services. Primarily AWS Beanstalk, AWS RDS, AWS Control Tower etc.
Experience Management and Monitoring of DevOps tools and deployments
