Get Devs is seeking for a DevOps Engineer that wants to join our team of passionate people with endless opportunities of learning through diversity and collaboration. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has extensive experience in working with multi-functional teams globally.
This role is primarily for someone who has experience with Amazon and development in Ruby.
Requirements:
Expert in AWS, Containerized apps and automated deployments (e.g. CircleCI) to Amazon, Autoscaling on Amazon
With very good understanding and experience of the following AWS services: Elastic Beanstalk, EC3, RDS, Route 53, S3, CloudFront, SFTP
Has good knowledge and experience utilizing Docker, Git (especially Git Flow)
Experience + Knowledge on Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL for at least 3 yrs
Proficiency with Amazon Spot Instances, EC2 Spot, Amazon Saving Plans, Shared Reservations
Proficient with setting up monitoring/alert systems for Amazon environments
Responsibilities:
Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and 'fixes'
Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Availability: Can start ASAP/Max of 30 days' notice
