The Role:
The ideal candidate for this role has in-depth knowledge and experience of architecting, securing, scaling, and administering solutions, in both cloud and on-prem platforms. Hands-on experience with building IaC with Terraform, building and optimizing CI / CD pipelines, knowledge of containerisation with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as experience using scripting languages or a high level programming language such as C# and .Net. are desired.
Main Responsibilities:
-You will be passionate about automation and DevOps, bringing continuous improvements and industry best practices to our pipelines.
-Maintaining and improving a Kubernetes-based microservice ecosystem that empowers our application teams to deliver value rapidly and securely.
-Collaborating with engineering teams to level-up security across our platform - from design, to deployment, to operations, monitoring, upgrade, and maintenance.
Technical Insight
Essential experience working with:
-Continuous Integration & CD - Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
-Containers - Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
-Infrastructure as Code - Terraform or other.
-Linux and Windows systems including networking.
-One of the following scripting languages: Bash, Powershell, or a high-level programming language such as C# and .Net.
Desirable experience working with:
-Message bussing - Azure Service Bus, Rabbitmq.
-Azure - Service Fabric, APIM, KeyVault, Container Registeries.
-Configuring database servers (MySQL, SqlServer, Cassandra).
