Job Description
Your team
The team is building a digital competence that will help in delivering multiple customer projects with multiple Avaloq digital offerings. The team will be a mixed bag of skills and each will be expected to shoulder the load to the project delivery.
Your mission
Design and implement: build, deployment, and configuration management
Creating and/or Initiating process and development improvements (e.g. building automated processes, design and/or update existing processes, etc)
Managing, Selecting and Deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
Mentoring and guiding the team members
Working within an Agile and collaborative environment with Business users and other technology partners.
Qualifications
What you need
Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms
Experience with CI/CD Platforms (Jenkins, Travis, Ansible, Terraform)
Experience with public or private cloud resources and services (Kubernetes or OpenShift, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud)
Basic knowledge on shell scripting (e.g. bash scripting)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB) and web servers (e.g. Apache)
Knowledge of multiple front-end technologies and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS/Sass, JavaScript, Angular, NodeJs, jQuery)
Equally strong back-end technologies (e.g. Java, C#) a
Understanding operating systems such as Windows and Linux
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
Experience with the agile methodology of project management
You will get extra points for the following
Strong willingness to keep up on the latest and greatest technologies that emerge
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare or similar)
