PDE/ DESIGN ENGINEER - CIVIL STRUCTURAL
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of Civil, Structural Engineering; Licensed-At least 5-10years' experience in Design & Engineering works
- Fluent in written and oral English communications-Familiar with MS Office
- Must have at least 3 years of Oil & Gas experience-Ability to work and coordinate more than one project at a time
- For Discipline Engr (Civil/Structural), familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar, STAAD, Navisworks
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design Engr (Civil/Structural)
- Prepares design for the Civil/Structural scope of the projects
- Develops cost-effective design layouts based on construction specifications and requirements
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards by completing technical studies and preparing cost estimates.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications by calculating time requirements and sequencing of project elements.
- Consider compliance to applicable gov't, industry, and client codes, practices, QA/QC policies, Safety policies, performance standards, and specifications when developing civil designs
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Review the project plan and determine the design feasibilities and constraints
- Conduct site inspections for individual projects to ensure site conditions are considered in the design process
- Prepares calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses
- Prepares Civil/Structural MTO
- Determines appropriate construction materials
- Provides technical advice on safe designs & construction and recommends or presents alternative solutions to problems
- Maintain accurate design files for reference purposes
- Manage design projects within allotted timelines and budgets
- Perform design changes and improvements according to changing projects demands
- Coordinate with CAD Engr./Draftsman for preparation of drawings or prepare the drawings if needed
- Coordinates with various teams to administer all ongoing assignments and check their status reports
- Sign off Civil/Structural drawings and calculations, especially on gov't permit applications
Project Development Engr
- Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans
- Lead Front End Engineering Designing process
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor all assigned projects
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards by completing technical studies and preparing cost estimates.
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications by calculating time requirements and sequencing of project elements.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress by coordinating activities and resolving problems.
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, Safety policies, performance standards, and specifications
- Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Other Details:
Salary rate: Php 1,150.00 - Php 1,533.00 per 8 hrs. worked
Worked schedule: Monday to Saturday /48 hrs per week
Additional Benefits/Entitlement apart from benefits mandated by the government (13th-month pay, 5-day Service Incentive Leave, etc.)
