We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our growing team in the Philippines.
As a Design Engineer, you should be able to research, plan, and create various design prototypes. You should be able to present the design ideas to the Project Engineer and gather feedback on the same.
You should also be able to prepare detailed report on the daily activities. Besides, you should ensure that the products comply with the industry and safety standards. Your strong analytical skills will be beneficial in identifying and making changes to the products. Moreover, you should be able to oversee the manufacturing process.
You should be familiar with CAD software and have excellent technical skills. You should also have to ability to conduct in-depth research. Furthermore, you should have multitasking skills and a detail-oriented approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and designing new engineering products.
Improving existing processes and designing new ones.
Creating product models and drawings.
Researching and suggesting ideas for new products and services.
Ensuring that all products and services adhere to the industry and safety standards.
Preparing and presenting detailed and accurate report on daily activities.
Gathering feedback on the design ideas provided.
Presenting design and test prototypes to the Project Engineer.
Drafting blueprints before beginning work.
Making changes to improve the efficiency of the product.
Reviewing engineering products and prototypes to access the risk involved.
Estimating and suggesting an approximate budget for new products.
Assisting in supervising the manufacturing process.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Proven 4-7 years of work experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role in the Engineering department.
Complete knowledge of industry and safety standards.
Familiarity with CAD software.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Strong technical and mechanical skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Having an eye for detail.
A team player and ability to work independently.
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to offer excellent customer service.
Philippine Nationals only.
While the role is remote based, the candidate must be living in the Philippines.
Bilingual skills in English and Filipino are required.
