The Demand Analyst 2 is a key member of our Emerson Tool Supply Chain Team. In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team of Supply Chain professionals that provides high-level analytics and insights to leaders and executives of different departments. This role will involve cross-functional coordination with other locations. Analytical skills will be utilized in managing data, generating reports and providing insights.
What you will work on
As a Demand Analyst 2, your responsibilities include:
Prepares and updates monthly, weekly, and daily reports for the sales and marketing team.
Work with some or all the current and future software and business intelligence systems - Oracle ERP, customer web portals, sales wizard, and others
Provide analysis on usage, impact and effectiveness of sales programs and activities, such as periodic product/ account promotions, new product program launches, and program changes
Researches and prepares report about competitor's product, features and performance, advertising and marketing campaigns, and online pricing
Prepares analysis of sales and inventory trend used to generate monthly orders and shipment forecast
Communicate reports, project status, and other activities and performance results to business leadership, various departments and customers
Perform Ad Hoc sales analysis as needed
What you will need:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, Marketing, or any related field.
1-3 years' experience in data analysis, sales, forecasting, marketing administration, Supply Chain or related function.
Database management experience required with proven understanding of database concepts, theories, and applications.
Solid understanding of database concept, theories, and applications
Understanding of accounting practices.
Knowledgeable in computer database programs and in ERP system such as Oracle/SAP/ Business Intelligence other database structures.
Proficient in MS Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, macros), and knowledgeable in MS PowerPoint and another MS Office application.
Knowledgeable in Domo/ Tableau/Power BI is a plus.
