Job Title: DBMN - Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) Dealer- Assistant Vice President
Location: Manila
Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President
The FIC Dealer is responsible for trading, pricing, risk management, customer support and overall development and expansion of assigned FIC products, which in turn contributes to the overall FIC franchise. FIC products include foreign exchange, interest rates, money markets, fixed income and/or derivatives.
Your Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to product area; Also ensures compliance with all internal DB guidelines pertaining to the product area
Engage in market-making and trading activities in a professional and responsible manner and in a way that is consistent with all relevant regulations, internal policies and overall market best practices. Where applicable, ensure that the bank's liquidity requirements are met
Provide appropriate pricing to customers, either directly or through the sales desk, and shares market views as necessary
Assist Sales by providing support and guidance; This may include providing back-up coverage of clients particularly when the primary salespeople are temporarily unavailable (ex. on leave, attending meetings, etc.)
Monitor the market and the environment for developments or opportunities that may impact the FIC business; Advise management and colleagues of these developments and, where appropriate, takes necessary action to protect against, or capitalize on, the same.
Review MI reports for proper risk monitoring and management.
Your skills and experience
Possess 5 years or more of relevant experience.
Has certification on Foreign Exchange and Money Markets
Has working knowledge of MM/FI/FX products.
