Position Overview
The Database Marketing Analyst III will be responsible for executing requirements, data management and data analysis, reporting and insights and recommendations' writing and, and business support and enablement for APAC Marketing and Alliances reporting, dashboards, and data analytics associated with Marketing efforts across the organization. Excellent communication skills and presentation confidence are fundamental to this role, as is the ability to synthesize complex data into a concise narrative about marketing performance and business impact.
What you'll do at Insight: the APAC Database Marketing Analyst III will be responsible for three key areas:
APAC Marketing Contacts' Management: this role owns the one-source of truth for APAC Marketing data, and key tactics include creating target list pulls for cross-sell and upsell campaigns; contact cleansing, matching, and enriching programs; partnering with APAC and North America Marketing Operations and Data and reporting team and with APAC BI / reporting team on customer data best practices aligned to Insight global data governance.
Reporting and Analytics: developing efficient practices to serve business needs across Marketing & Alliances impact reporting, e.g., build and/ or leverage reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc data files to support a broad range of business needs in various tools including Power BI, SQL, and Excel. Our end-state vision is robust reporting, tools' usage and hygiene that clearly demonstrate marketing's influence on revenue and customer lifetime value (CLV).
Provide deep interpretation of data and reporting results and recommendations to optimize tactics based on these results.
Validate that your deliverables meet business need and requirements.
Adhere to reporting process and standards while seeking areas for improvements.
Establish high credibility as the power user of all Marketing and Alliances reporting.
Marketing tools leadership and mastery: ClientLink, Qualtrics (NPS tool: launching in July 2022) and Marketo are key tools. This role is the custodian of APAC marketing data and is the Client Link champion in our team, given our CRM should be the single source of truth for client data and up-to-date client contacts.
In addition, this role will be required to back up support for other team members to assist with system questions, enablement or support, and work with local, APAC and global teams
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage ambiguity.
Create and generate ad hoc requests using existing reporting tools and/ or Excel aligned to policy.
All other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to join Insight
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills. Minimum 3 years in a dynamic business environment conducting analysis, requirements definition, and reporting leadership and support.
Experience in producing reporting and data visualizations in SQL and Power BI. Data Bricks is preferred too
3 years minimum using Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, formatting, variables, etc. along with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
Minimum 2 years' experience or exposure to Digital Marketing efforts in an organization. Excellent understanding of SQL for querying and reporting purposes required.
Have a sound knowledge of Marketing processes and strategies.
Strong communication (verbal and written), organization (including working across time zones and countries, and work with both teams onsite and remote teams), and time management
Must be self-driven, motivated, and results oriented.
Excellent teamwork, collaboration and communication skills
Must be able to solve problems thoroughly and work well under pressure.
Must be able to adhere to tight service level agreements (SLAs) and multi-task effectively.
Able to thrive in an environment characterized by rapidly changing requirements and an ongoing focus on meeting operational objectives and the quest to always know more about our clients and prospects and how Insight can better serve their business needs.
