Responsibilities Include
Installation, configuration, upgradation, patching, cloning, performance monitoring and optimization of the multi-node Oracle EBS 12 Applications on 19g Databases
Provide support for E-Business Suite (R12.1.3/R12.2), Application Server, Vertex, WebLogic, etc.
Pro-active and reactive performance analysis Troubleshooting, Monitoring, Performance tuning of E-business Application Servers in a mission critical environment.
Work with System Analysts & Developers in the implementation of newer Oracle EBS modules and custom interfaces, as needed
Perform root-cause analysis and resolution of complex problems in support of production environments, including 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
Required Experience, Education, Etc.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or technical discipline
5+ years of Oracle database administration experience with at least 4 years as an Oracle Applications DBA supporting Oracle EBS (R12).
Experience with installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance and upgrades of Oracle 12 and 19 databases
Thorough knowledge of underlying the Oracle Applications Technology Stack, database architecture, schemas/products and database objects
Experience in 12.1 & 12.2 Oracle EBS Application's Utilities (e.g., AD Administration, AutoConfig, WebLogic, rapid clone, etc.)
Cloning, Patching and System Administration Concurrent Manager administration.
Manage, monitor and configuring workflow.
WebLogic (R11g, R12c) - Install, configure, clone, administer, patch, maintain, troubleshoot, and monitor availability & performance.
Hands on experience with implementation, upgrade and tuning of large Oracle EBS environments
Expertise in RMAN, hot and cold backups, SAN
Performance tuning at DB and apps Level.
Must have good troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripting.
Skilled problem-solving capabilities with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
Performance problem identification and remediation.
Experience with Windows/Linux/Solaris operating systems.
