ProductReview.com.au is looking for passionate, observant, and meticulous candidates to apply for our full-time Data Specialist position. This role involves a large amount of data entry, where attention to detail is paramount.
 
We are Australia's first, largest, and most comprehensive consumer opinion site. Since May 2003, we’ve been providing a platform to over 4 million Australian consumers each month, where they can rate & review products, services, and businesses.
 
Duties & Responsibilities
Researching and adding new items to our database as they are released by manufacturers, and removing discontinued products;
Assessing suggestions for new products sourced from our reviewers and affiliate partners;
Processing, modifying, or adding item specification data to ensure that it is correct, up-to-date, and has the most beneficial amount of information for consumers;
Assisting in ad-hoc duties relevant to data maintenance.
About You
You must be internet-savvy, and confident in quickly navigating the web;
You must have knowledge of working in spreadsheets;
You have ninja-like analytical skills – be able to think and solve problems independently;
You must be able to work both collaboratively and independently – while you will receive as much support as required, a high degree of autonomy is expected;
High attention to detail is crucial to succeeding in this position;
You must have exceptional English (both written & oral) communication skills, alongside a friendly persona & a professional work ethic;
You care like an owner – take pride in your work and value what you do like a part-owner of ProductReview.com.au;
It’s a bonus (but not necessary) if you possess any of the following: (1) Previous data entry or online moderation experience; (2) Interest in any of these topics: consumer products, health/beauty products, cars, shopping, technology, or home appliances.
