DATA SCIENCE EDUCATOR for Digital Academy
What is Digital Academy?
Digital Academy is a project under Hakuhodo/BCI and EastWest International Educational Specialist Inc. that help, learn, and empower students, professionals and skilled workers about Data Science, Digital Marketing, Digital Media Management, IT Business Analytics and Design Thinking.
Requires a BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred
Must have at least 3 years of working experience working with business analysis/informatics and business
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
Experience in data mining
Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
Must have knowledge in R or Python, SQL, and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is a plus
Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau), Visualization tools and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
Analytical mind and business acumen
Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, Algebra)
Technical Skills: Power BI, Python, SQL, Big Data, AWS experience
Problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication and presentation skills; teaching experience is a plus
Knowledge in Machine Learning preferred but not required
Familiarity with common data science and analytics tools and libraries such as jupyter notebook, sci-kit learn, pandas, numpy, scipy or at least one of these preferred but not required
