Job Summary
Coordinates the development, implementation and administration of policies and procedures to ensure the protection of personal data in compliance with organization and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and processing LNRS Dispute inquiries
Reviewing, interpreting, and translating (as needed) legal documentation
Writing and reviewing dispute analyses
Performing independent research related to each case as necessary
Performing profile restrictions (global locking and suppression)
Drafting non-legal responses
Submitting and reviewing investigations
Attending internal meetings
Performing administrative tasks related to dispute cases and/or processes
Reviewing internal email box
Reviewing internal manuals and having a complete understanding of processes and data
Collaborates with Legal and IT departments in order to identify personal data risks and to establish procedures to eliminate these risks
Monitors procedures related to the collection, storage, retrieval, and disclosure of personal data
Identifies and follows up on data protection issues that require investigation, resolution and/or legal action
Plans and conducts personal data compliance training programs
May provide professional legal advice regarding personal data privacy General Profile: Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression Qualifications
Requires a College or University/Bachelor's degree • Required - High proficiency in English (must possess strong written and communication skills)
Minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others
Paralegal experience or legal background • Preferred - knowledge of Risk and Compliance, Data Privacy and/or GDPR
Recommended Skills: Functional Knowledge: Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline
Business Expertise: Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or experience
