Job Purpose:
CBRE's Global Data Privacy Office (GDPO) is growing. The GDPO is responsible and accountable for designing and maintaining CBRE's global data privacy program and compliance framework. We regularly advise on privacy matters, create policy, guidelines, and training, and develop privacy-compliant processes relating to respecting data subject rights, data mapping, privacy risk assessments, and digital marketing compliance. We are looking to hire a full-time Data Subject Rights and GDPO Administrator to support the team with the management of our global data privacy program.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a Data Subject Rights and GDPO Administrator, you will:
· Project manage and support the end-to-end data subject rights (DSR) response process, including but not limited to:
o Monitoring compliance by tracking intake, key deadlines, deliverables, and closure
o Corresponding with data subjects
o Verifying the identity of data subjects and representatives where applicable
o Coordinating with the third party service providers, such as outside counsel
o Securely delivering responsive data to data subjects where applicable
Be responsible for administrative activities relating to One Trust (OT) data privacy software, including the data mapping and assessment modules
Develop and maintain metrics with regards to compliance and accountability
Maintain documentation requirements that illustrate data privacy compliance
Maintain the GDPO's intranet and Microsoft Teams site to store, organize and share data privacy program materials
Administer program management activities such as minutes, risks and action logs and meeting preparation
Facilitate translation requirements for policies, standards and notices
Assign training and maintain change management library
Monitor and manage group privacy mailboxes, as needed
Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and team events, book reservations and travel
Assist with new employee onboarding
Complete other programmatic and administrative duties and ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrable strong project management, organizational, and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong interpersonal skills
Paralegal, program management, and/or e-discovery experience preferred
Experience with OneTrust, including its DSR module, preferred
Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
Ability to create, collect, and present on process metrics
3-5 years demonstrable experience within a multinational corporate environment, preferred
Ability to work on own initiative and with limited oversight
Accurate and exceptional attentional to detail
