Assignment Detail Industry: IT Consulting/Services Job Description Data Modeler/ Architect Quezon City - Hybrid Set Up Day Shift * "Key Accountabilities: Individual Accountabilities: Responsible for data model designs by applying Manulife Assignment Detail Industry: IT Consulting/Services Job Description Data Modeler/ Architect Quezon City - Hybrid Set Up Day Shift 'Key Accountabilities: Individual Accountabilities: Responsible for data model designs by applying Manulife best practices to create scalable and secure solutions that have superior technical performance Designs data models and data flows to support flow of data through the organization Designs and supports conceptual, logical, and physical data models Assists with design of application data flows Works with UI/UX and business analysts across small to medium d teams with common purpose to provide input for conceptual and logical data models (LDM) Works with API/ microservice developers to derive physical DB (i.e. SQL/ NOSQL) using LDM design Job Requirements: Good understanding of data modeling concepts: Conceptual, Logical, Physical designs Normalization/ Denormalization Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) Data modeling for large-scale systems and familiarity with industry data standards (eg. ACORD or equivalent) Gain an understanding of Clien't's Omni-channel Data Model (OCDM) and how it is used to support key internal digital systems Deep knowledge and experience in design and implementation of Enterprise Data Integration/Semantic/Information models patterns and frameworks Awareness of regulatory and compliance directives such as BCBS230, PIPEDA, GDPR Demonstrates all core skills, and good interpersonal skills for the role Good working and background knowledge of area of practice Introduces new developments and innovation into data modeling discipline within the segment Use and combines knowledge of the discipline and leading market trends to formulate the right approach Understands the corporate climate & culture Strong knowledge of the business Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members able to coach, participate in data model reviews, share skills and methods Constantly learns from both success and failure Good verbal and written communication able to effectively articulate data definitions in written English Experiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next Decision Authorities: Able to achieve tasks using own judgement with limited supervision Strong analytical skills, copes with complex situations through deliberate analysis and planning, strong problem solving skills '
