Skills and Experience:
8+ years' experience working as a Data Migration specialist managing technical team and build activities of data migration
Working experience in Talend and/or Informatica
Lead, support and execute the data migration for the integration of systems
Provide hands-on technical and development support to the data migration team during the implementation and testing of the solution across multiple environments
Perform technical assessment of new scope for data migration activities and produce effort estimates
Lead end to end testing life cycles activities that are related to the data migration activities
Design (LLD) the repositories for the staging of legacy data
Ensure the meta data is captured and consistent
Liaise with the data governance team to ensure data ownership and compliance with data standards
Write data mapping reports, analyse the source and target data
Define data extract criteria and data transformation rules
Define any automated data cleansing rules
Agree the mappings with all relevant parties
Prioritise project deliverables in consultation with stakeholders
Work closely with the project stream leads to understand the data migration requirements
Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation and be involved in exception handling
Engage with application teams to evaluate the viable technical options for migrating data
Produce, functional / technical specifications for any developments required to support data migration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
