then please read on!Your new job:ING is looking for enthusiastic Data Engineer to join the Finance and Risk Reporting squad of Tribe Lending.The Tribe Lending has the purpose: "Make complex lending simple". The Tribe is accountable for the end-to-end seamless Lending Client Journey. The solutions we design, develop and maintain are both in-house build and COTS. The technology being used is Linux and Oracle database.What will you do?Your day-to-day responsibility include:
Analysing requirements and perform technical feasibility study/analysis
Developing integrations using SQL+Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) between databases.
Being first point of contact for production issues or for any technical advice.
Working closely with Ops engineers for interface deployments, Data Analysis and debugging
Learning new tools and implement them on the interfaces like Azure DevOps, GIT, Ansible.
Assisting/developing the Deployment Automation Strategies
Carrying out Unit Test and System Integration Testing
Preparing Regulatory Reports by understanding the requirements
Supporting audits with documentation/Proofs/run through the code base
Your key responsibilities are:
Developing high performance data solutions with best practices on tools used
Completing full test cycle before implementation
Using CI/CD pipeline to implement the solution
Communicating with the stakeholders to analyse and understand the need and design the solution accordingly
Using advanced SQL query language to support Audits / Regulatory requests
Supporting other squad members whenever needed with your experience and knowledge
Who are you?You are an enthusiastic Data Engineer with the following skillset:Must have
Experience on integrating data using an ETL tool
Experience on Oracle RDBMS, tables, views, indexing, tuning and data types
Experience on data transformation techniques
Experience on Oracle SQL Developer or other SQL client tools
Advanced skills of SQL (analytical functions etc.) and PLSQL
Nice to have
Oracle Data Integrator experience is a plus
Experience on Scrum methodology
Thorough understanding of data warehousing, data modelling techniques and entity relationship diagrams
Data Analysis and cleansing techniques
Agile way of working
Ability to communicate effectively and present/demo ideas and solutions
Keen on documenting her/his work
Knowledge on Linux OS/shell scripting
Experience on CI/CD pipeline and relevant tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Microsoft Azure Devops
Capable of solving complex problems
Basic java and python experience are also preferred
