The Role
The Data Engineer is a member of the Technology Team and plays a key role in building our advanced data solutions to help people make critical business decisions.
The Data Engineer will contribute to building data pipelines, participate in setting the right infrastructure and developing the needed tools to provide insights and analytics to our customers.
Responsibilities
Implement data pipelines and transformations for highly available products and solutions
Develop, customize and manage data warehouses, and analytical systems
Extraction of raw data from various social media platforms, listening tools and analytics tools
Conceptualize and create interactive/dynamic dashboards using various BI tools to provide powerful insights and analysis from the collected data
Requirements
BS degree in Computer Science/ Engineering
Strong competencies in algorithms and software architecture
Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Experience in cloud development 3+ years experience on BI projects and support experience
Strong experience in Relational Databases (SQL Server) and non-relational databases
Analytical Data modelling knowledge (DWH, Star Schema, Kimball etc)
Strong experience in various BI Tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Additional Exposure with CI/CD Agile or iterative development methodology experience
Highly available and scalable data systems
Willing to work onsite 4x a week; dayshift
