A world-leading FMCG company is recruiting two Data Engineer (MS Azure, Group-Up Project) in Pasig City to join their team. In this Data Engineer job, you will be responsible for designing, building, implementing and maintaining data integration and ETL/ELT pipelines for MS Azure database.
About the Data Engineer (MS Azure, Group-Up Project) Role:
In this business critical role, you will design, build, implement and maintain data migration processes using event-driven architecture. Reporting to the Data Architect as part of the enterprise technology team, the Data Engineer Lead will be responsible for providing expertise across a broad range of data systems operating company's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, implement and maintain data integration and ETL/ELT pipelines
Design, build, implement and maintain databases
Design, build and maintain solutions incorporating the company's Data Lake
Provide business-level through to technical-level analytical expertise for data-related aspects of IT projects
Design, build, implement and support programmes and applications for database management, data management and user interaction with various data sources
Design and document the architectural components needed to transform raw transactional data into a consistent and coherent data set suitable for BI use. Ensure guidelines exist for integration, cleansing and data modelling including data warehouse structures (aggregation, federation, virtualisation)
Understand the data components needed to meet business requirements including currency, quality, granularity, velocity and structure
To succeed in the Data Engineer (MS Azure, Group-Up Project) job, you should have extensive experience designing, building and maintaining data migration and integration solutions using a recognised business integration tool, including the use of a programming language within a tool.
Key Requirements:
Experience designing, building and maintaining databases, including procedural programming and SQL scripting on a major RDBMS and cloud; preferably MS Azure
Experience working with one of the major cloud platforms (Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud)
Experience working within the Scrum agile framework
University degree or technical diploma, preferably in an information technology/information systems field
