Job Description:
Major Accountabilities
Be part of strategic Asia Data initiatives and responsible in driving the solution and architecture of the program (e.g. Client Data Hub, Data Lake, ODS etc.)
Work with market data SMEs to establish consistent data models, data definition language and taxonomy across Asia
Work with Senior Data Architects, Chief Data Office in identifying the business needs and define way forward strategy and roadmaps
Responsible in maintaining an inventory of data technology tools and technology stack across Asia
Help in identifying the right data tools and technologies across SL and industry for solving various business problems
Define standard and Guardrails on Architectural patterns in terms of operational and strategic aspects of data storage and retrieval across the organization, including all databases and data warehouses
Collaborate and develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders across Asia Business and IT teams ensuring that delivered roadmaps, architecture and strategy are aligned to business need and enabling the business to use data technology to achieve its goals
Govern all projects and initiatives across Asia from Data and Analytics area and provide required guidance and approvals
Responsible in driving POC's / POT's and securing approvals to conduct experiments on new technologies
Specialized Knowledge
Strong working experience in implementations such as MDM, ODS, Data Lake and Data warehouse engagements
Proven track record of ability to lead enterprise-wide transformation programs in the FS sector
Deep technical and architectural experience in data infrastructure, platforms, and technology as well as data integrity, data governance, data processing, and data warehousing.
Strong experience and appreciation of Insurance data models such as IAA, Accord etc.
Good exposure to range of data governance tools in the space of Data Quality, Data Profiling, Data Standardization etc.
Strong experience in Data Modeling, SQL/No SQL, Machine Learning and Pyhton
