Position Summary
The Data Analyst is responsible in generating timely and accurate procurement reports and analytics which will aid in fact-based sourcing strategy planning and execution.
What are the roles and responsibilities?
Prepares the monthly Price Bulletin and Price Performance Variance for raw, packaging and indirect materials per category and business unit including effect on total spend for global procurement
Develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems, data visualization and other strategies that optimize report efficiency and quality
Monitors procurement operations relating to compliance including policies, contracts, and procedures.
Working alongside teams within the business unit and procurement team establish need of their customer.
Manage spend data of Procurement Team (Identify patterns and trends in data sets of spend, validate completeness and accuracy, validate material data elements, provide deep dive analysis with the Spend data
Collates monthly URC International Purchase Summary Report of Raw and Packaging materials then provides the management with Comparative Regional Pricing in US Dollars
Monitors Procurement Department's operating and capital expenditures budget for each year
Performs other related duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time
What are the qualifications?
2-5 years of relevant work experience
Intermediate to advanced experience with excel and powerpoint
Experience with POWERBI is an advantage
