Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Managing stakeholder's expectations, and working with business users to gather requirements, resolve business rule requirements, and perform joint conceptual data model reviews Utilizing a range of existing Bigdata technologies and data modeling techniques such as star-schema, snowflake, hybrid, and new design techniques optimized for data acquisition, storage and visualization, and evangelizing the data models and techniques Managing the balance of current and future needs or user requirements in both design and content Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Experience in Python, SQL, Tableau or Power BI Hands-on experience in Tableau, Basic Statistics, Machine Learning, Python, SQL Exposure to tools/platforms Hadoop eco system and DB systems Knowledge of big data/ advanced analytics concepts and algorithms text mining, social listening, recommender systems, predictive modeling, etc. Preferred Qualifications: Big Data and Basic Statistics Knowledge of Big Data technologies like HADOOP (Hortonworks preferred but open to Cloudera, MapR or even Apache Hadoop), HIVE, MapReduce, Sparks etc. is preferred.
