Job Purpose
Handle inbound contacts from internal and/or external customers applying some advanced skills and procedures to provide a high level of value and service to the customer.
Job Functions
Receive inbound contacts from customers or escalated calls from less experienced agents, ensuring that all appropriate transactions are completed or appropriate forms and information is provided to customers with satisfactory resolution of the situation.
Applying some advanced skills and procedures, research the situation and respond to the customer, or when necessary, escalating the situation to the next level. Complete necessary documentation in all utilized systems.
Represent the company in a professional manner that provides high quality service and encourages long-term relationships to facilitate retention and increased business growth.
Maintain knowledge of necessary products and services
Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers, operate in an ethical manner in accordance with State and Federal law, the company's Corporate Code of Ethics, Affirmative Action, Diversity, employee handbook, applicable compliance and operations policies and procedures and other policies of the company.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of related work experience required.
Strong communication, customer service, organizational and telephone skills required.
Must be: self-motivated, able to work in a team environment, able to multi-task, detail oriented and able to maintain strict confidentiality guidelines.
Requires good computer skills and must have a good understanding of business unit products, processes and systems.
Must be able to wear a telephone headset and sit for extended periods.
May be required to work non-traditional hours to meet customer needs. Must be able to type 35 wpm.
Customer service experience and experience in the related fields preferred.
