Customer retention specialist - remoteACHIEVE TEST PREP

Do you enjoy flexibility and the ability to work from home? Achieve provides online prep exam courses to increase students' likelihood of earning college credits via credit-by-exam. We are a fully virtual organization with all team members working 100% remotely.
We are seeking a Customer Retention Specialist to join our team of sales professionals as a member of our Sales Support Department. As a Customer Retention specialist you will meet and consult with customers who are considering dropping out of college. You will have tools and resources to help customers and you will remove obstacles so that they can continue on in our program and reach their educational and career goals. In this role you have a real ability to make a difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities:

-Taking inbound calls from customers regarding withdrawal requests
-Making outbound calls to customers to address withdrawal requests
-Researching customers' files ensuring a personable and professional approach
-Researching and selling company's products and offers most likely to help customers
-Strengthen Achieve's brand perception by speaking positively of the company, our products and services
-Keeping students actively engaged in graduating rather than dropping out or transferring
-Maintain and strengthen loyalty in customer relationships through friendly, professional, and accurate communication
-Assist in maintaining and monitoring electronic data for established customers
-Assist with administrative duties and projects as assigned within the Retention Department
-Other tasks as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:

-Must be able to write and speak fluently in English
-Flexible schedules are available Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM EST
-Goal-oriented person with a history of achieving success
-Professional sales or retention experience
-Comfortable working from a computer and working within databases
-Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment, and capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
-Experience handling difficult and irate customers
-Problem-solving, critical thinking and decision making skills
