JOB PURPOSE
This job ensures that:
The credit unit of Union Galvasteel Corporation implements consistently the credit policy and strategies.
The financial risk from the company's revenue is effectively covered while maximizing sales without prejudice to the credit controls.
JOB SCOPE
Implements the strategies and/or operational roadmap as mandated by Credit Committee through the Corporate Head - Credit;
Oversees the implementation of credit policies and procedures by its direct reports;
Formulates improvements on the credit policy to be more responsive to the present credit environment;
Approves customers' credit lines and monitors the granting and updating process;
Manages delinquent accounts including those under litigation through monitoring of compliance with the agreed collection plans or compromise agreement and taking lead in the resolution of dispute;
Manages relations with financial service providers, credit associations and court offices that can provide credit solutions to customers' credit requirements;
Identifies, provides and recommends appropriate training for its direct reports;
Performs task and other duties that may be assigned by his/her immediate supervisor from time to time;
