Headcount: 3Job BriefWe are looking for highly skilled Credit Analysts to join a trusted and established financial institution. The role is critical in evaluating credit proposals, managing portfolio risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. This opportunity is ideal for credit professionals with strong analytical expertise who want to contribute to the banks growth while advancing their career in a reputable organization.The Credit Analyst will provide objective and thorough assessments of loan applications, ensuring sound credit decisions and proactive portfolio management. You will collaborate closely with the Corporate Banking Segment (CBS) team, deliver high-quality evaluations, and uphold the banks standards for risk management and governance.Responsibilities
Partner with CBS counterparts to ensure timely submission of pre-approval requirements and effective portfolio management.
Prepare Evaluations and Recommendations for Credit Accommodation (ERCA) for renewals, ensuring alignment with policy and service level agreements.
Validate borrower information, collateral, and documentation as part of credit analysis.
Identify policy or regulatory exceptions, assess risks, and recommend appropriate mitigations.
Develop financial models and conduct in-depth financial analyses for new borrowing clients; review ERCA prepared by CBS when required.
Assign and maintain accurate credit risk ratings and classifications across accounts.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Accounting Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Management, or Economics.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from a top accounting firm most preferred
Minimum of 4 years experience in financial analysis, with strong exposure to commercial and corporate credit.
Solid understanding of credit risk analysis and financial statement evaluation.
Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
