About the group and team
Canva is an online platform that is available across the globe with millions of users worldwide. The Templates Team empowers our users to create stunningly beautiful content by beginning their journey with a perfect and easily customizable template design.
As Canva has grown exponentially, so too have the templates that are used by customers and the number of designers who create these templates. The templates design team has more than doubled in the last 4 months and will continue to grow for the foreseeable future!
It is a fun, energetic and fast-paced team located across Sydney and Manila. Together we produce thousands of templates each month!
Your role
You'll be joining the Templates Team as a Vendor Manager, to help us deliver on our mission to create a diverse, fresh and inspiring content for Canva users. You will be working as an integral part of the team managing our growing Vendor program as they create exceptional quality Canva Templates.
We'd love if you have...
Excellent organisational skills with experience managing a pool of external vendors, or a remote team.
Experience with the creative process or managing a creative team. You will ideally have a experience as Project Manager or Traffic Manager in a creative agency
Business acumen as contract development, forecasting, invoicing will form part of your role
Excellent communication skills including strong negotiation skills and interpersonal relationship development
Ability to work independently and take initiative
As you will be managing creative vendors a natural eye for design is required

Assume ownership, and management of, the Canva Template Team's vendor program ensuring the delivery of high quality creative on-time and to brief
Lead the ongoing expansion of vendor program including hiring and onboarding
Perform Contract and invoicing management
Grow and develop relationships with our Vendors to ensure smooth, enjoyable workflows for all parties
Analyze current system processes and contribute to existing and new development initiatives
Provide feedback on vendor performance and rating and work to improve the quality of the vendors and elevate the creative output
