Our respected client is seeking for a Management Accountant with solid knowledge in financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit & loss statements in manufacturing industry. The job is based in Taguig City, Philippines.
Job Summary:
The Management Accountant will be responsible to apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit & loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.
Key job responsibilities include:
The accurate completion, commercial analysis, and timely delivery of Philippine Sales financial & management reporting.
Compile and analyse financial information and document business transactions as may be necessary
Prepare and ensure completion of regular reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements for Sales entities
Completion of the month end closing process for Sales entities including analysis of PNL expenditure lines and perform management reports
Prepare on timely basis the GL Account reconciliation, prepares necessary accounting adjustments and communicate fully on any deviations or areas of risk to the Finance & Commercial Manager
Analyse, calculate and allocate inter-departmental charges for various expenditures
Support several projects thru aiding the management with appropriate financial information and analysis that can guide in decision-making
Support and assist regular and annual department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, annual tax filings, Group statutory reporting, Intercompany reconciliation, internal control checklist completion and others
Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues from different business entities
Direct reporting relationship is to the Finance and Commercial Manager
Close peer and support relationships with various Sales Leaders and the Finance/Commercial functions of the Philippines
Perform other tasks that may be assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant / CPA
Minimum of 5-year commercial experience gained from business industries like FMCG, Consumer packaging, Wholesale, and distribution, and/or Manufacturing.
Exceptional analytical ability including translating analysis to action
High level of communication and personal integrity
High level of interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively and positively with personnel at all levels in the organization.
Strong personal accountability for driving and delivering on targets and deadlines
Must have experience in ERP system - MFG-Pro
Superior attention to detail to identify and correct risky practices
Strong personal accountability for driving and delivering on targets and deadlines
Detailed oriented, knowledgeable on statistics, have strong problem-solving skills,
Knowledgeable in generally accepted accounting principles and practices, computerized system, understanding of current political and business environment.
Ability to think out of the box; Spearheading of high impact initiatives.
Anticipation of potential problems and resolution of problems,
Must have good leadership skills and effective communicator.
Can start as soon as possible / within a month,
Willing to be assigned in Taguig City.
